The service
MovieGeo provides a film and geography guessing game, editorial descriptions of movie scenes, scoring, and related informational pages. Features, questions, schedules, scoring rules, and availability may change as the service is tested and improved.
The game is provided for personal entertainment and general information. It is not a navigation, travel-planning, historical, or professional advice service.
Fair and acceptable use
You may use the site for lawful, personal purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass security controls, overload infrastructure, introduce malicious code, scrape the site at a harmful rate, access non-public systems, or use automated tools to manipulate scores and game results.
You are responsible for the device, connection, and software you use to access MovieGeo.
Content and accuracy
We work to distinguish story settings, real filming sites, studio sets, and productions that used several locations. Even with careful research, filming records, coordinates, translations, and editorial descriptions may contain errors or reasonable differences in interpretation.
Locations and access conditions can change. A place appearing in the game does not mean it is open to visitors, safe to enter, or suitable for travel. Respect private property, local rules, permits, closures, and safety guidance.
Intellectual property
The MovieGeo name, site design, original game code, original clues, and editorial text are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Movie titles and other third-party names belong to their respective owners. Their descriptive use does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
You may link to the public site and share ordinary game results. You may not copy, republish, sell, or commercially exploit substantial parts of the question library, design, or software without permission.
Third-party services
The site may depend on or link to third-party hosting, geographic data, research sources, and other services. We do not control independent websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or terms.
Availability and responsibility
MovieGeo is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every device. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.
Changes
These terms may be updated as MovieGeo adds new features. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from their stated date.
